This design is part of the collection inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson, an iconic and beloved Swedish design family active in the 19th century. In 1899 Carl published an album with watercolor paintings from the family’s home and life at Lilla Hyttnäs. The album, called “ Huset i Solen” (The house in the sun) became a huge success story and is said to be the very first media story from a Swedish home.
