Program Terms

1. The program

The Houston Wallpapering Creator & Affiliate Program ("Program") lets approved participants ("Affiliates") refer customers to houstonwallpapering.com using a personal referral link and a personal discount code. Participation is by invitation or approved application only.

2. Eligible products and commission

Commission is earned on eligible merchandise (wallpaper and murals sold by Houston Wallpapering) at the rate shown in your dashboard (standard rate: 5%). It is calculated on the amount actually paid for eligible items after all discounts, and excludes sales tax, shipping, fees, samples, installation, wall preparation, measurement and other services, and any product Houston Wallpapering designates as ineligible.

3. Attribution

An order is credited to an Affiliate when it uses that Affiliate's discount code, or, if no Affiliate code is used, when it is placed within 30 days of the customer's last click on that Affiliate's referral link on the same browser. If an order uses an Affiliate's code, that code takes precedence over any referral link. Each order can be credited to one Affiliate only. Houston Wallpapering's records are final for attribution purposes.

4. Approval, refunds and cancellations

Commissions are pending until the order is completed and 30 further days have passed without a refund or cancellation. Commissions on canceled or refunded orders are reversed; partial refunds reduce the commission proportionally. If a refund occurs after a commission was paid, the amount is deducted from future commissions.

5. Payouts

Approved commissions are paid monthly by Zelle, or by another method agreed with Houston Wallpapering. Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payment details and for any taxes on their earnings; Houston Wallpapering may request tax documentation (for example Form W-9) before paying.

6. Prohibited conduct

  • Self-referrals: purchases by the Affiliate or for the Affiliate's own account do not earn commission.
  • Coupon abuse: posting the code on coupon or deal aggregator sites, bidding on Houston Wallpapering brand terms in paid search, or distributing the code in ways not approved by Houston Wallpapering.
  • Misleading advertising: false claims about products, prices, availability or the Affiliate's relationship with Houston Wallpapering.
  • Spam, cookie stuffing, fake orders or any attempt to manipulate attribution.

7. Disclosure (FTC)

Affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose their relationship with Houston Wallpapering whenever they promote the Program, in line with the FTC Endorsement Guides (for example "#ad", "affiliate link" or "I earn a commission"). The disclosure must be visible without clicking "more".

8. Use of the Houston Wallpapering brand

Affiliates may use the Houston Wallpapering name and product images only to promote the Program and in a way that does not suggest they are Houston Wallpapering or speak for it. Houston Wallpapering may ask for content to be changed or removed.

9. Changes and termination

Houston Wallpapering may change commission rates, discounts, eligible products or these terms, and may suspend or end any Affiliate's participation at any time. Changes apply to orders placed after they take effect. Commissions earned in compliance with these terms before termination remain payable; commissions connected to a violation may be withheld.

10. Relationship and privacy

Affiliates are independent and are not employees, agents or partners of Houston Wallpapering. Affiliates receive no personal information about customers; the dashboard shows only anonymous order references, amounts and statuses.
