It is sold by the double roll — one purchase is a continuous double-roll bolt. When you estimate quantity, work out how many single rolls you need first, then order half that many double rolls, rounding up.

It is a half drop match with a repeat of 24 in | 60.9 cm. Allow a little extra material so the pattern lines up correctly between strips — the longer the repeat, the more you should allow.

Measure the width and height of each wall, add the areas together, and divide by the coverage of one roll — then add roughly 10–15% for the pattern repeat and trimming. Yes. Maxine is a natural fiber wallcovering, so shading, tone and weave vary from roll to roll — that is inherent to the material and is not a defect. Hang the strips in sequence and, wherever possible, from the same order, and expect the seams to be visible by design on a grasscloth-style material.

Maxine is cleaned by vacuuming gently with a soft brush attachment rather than by washing. Do not wet it — water marks natural fibers permanently — and blot any spill immediately instead of rubbing it.
